Cities in Motion hangs on loading tutorial
Hi,
Just bought the complete pack in the sale, and tried to launch the tutorial. However, it loads, and then when loading is complete, a cursor appears and nothing else happens. How do I fix this? I have an iMac 27", 2.7 Ghz i5 CPU, 12 GB ram and a Radeon 6770M. Thanks. |

I have the same problem, although on PC (AMD Phenon II @3.2 Ghz, Asus Nvidia Geforce 560 Ti, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 Professional x64). I tried setting all display settings to minimal as proposed in another forum but it still freezes on the loading screen of the tutorial.
EDIT: I tried somtehing stupid; I wanted to see if the Steam Community is available while the game was "freezing" - lo and behold, the second I got that message about the registration code to vanish, the "Play" button was revealed; it had been hidden under the Steam message... @stevenh: I hope that's the solution for you, too.

Just posting to say that I had the same problem. I can't believe I went through all the trouble of reinstalling graphics drivers, uninstalling the demo, reinstalling the game several times when it was this stupid design error that was the problem.
On a related note, nearly 24 hours to get this account approved? Really? |
