Game keeps crashing
I started playing this game a few days ago and when i went to continue my game it keeps crashing at the loading screen after i click contine game. it does this when i try to start a new game aswell, i get an error message saying "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". i have tried uninstalling and re-installing and verifying integrity of game cache and still the same problem, my specs are as follows:
i5 2500k @4.4Ghz 8Gb DDR3 RAM @1600Mhz MSI GTX 570 OC edition any help would be greatly appreciated |

Fix
I just set PhysX to LOW in the configuration menu, and behold, it works fine now. Hope this helps!

Try resetting any OC (like your CPU) back to stock and see if that works.
If not, try using MSI Afterburner for your GPU and set your GTX 570 to the NVIDIA referenced clock settings. I had a similar issue with my EVGA SuperClocked GTX 570. OC's are fine under 95% of games I play, except for Alice:MR, NFS:TheRun, and L.A.Noire. I used the reference clocks and now these 3 games run fine. PhysX shouldn't be any kind of an issue on a GTX 570, I run Highest it goes and it's smooth. Just be sure PhysX is either set to AUTO or (Your GPU name) under NVIDIA CP. If it's set to CPU, it won't use GPU-acceleration. |
