From Dust will be unplayable next week

"Online modes for the majority of Ubisoft games will be impacted next week when the company moves its gaming servers.

PC and Mac gamers will find several games completely unavailable online and offline."

It doesn't list From Dust specifically, but it is a game that relies on UPlay - so chances are you won't be able to play your single player game next week, thanks to server issues. Pirates will remain unaffected. Good work, Ubisoft!

The online abilities of all of their games (bar a select few) will go down. The offline modes of some (but not all) games will apparently remain functional, but a lot of people (myself included) can't get From Dust's offline mode to work). There has been no timeframe given for when we might expect it to come online again.

I would suggest verifying files through Steam or doing a reinstallation of the game to make sure that the launcher is correctly installed, then. Offline mode works just fine here.

I've tried that, along with a manual reinstall of the launcher. No dice.
