Does't quite work, in the readme it says I have to mount it on drive E or lower or else quake won't find the CD and Daemon Tools creates virtual drives only after E like F,G,H and so on. The point is it can't mount on my physical drive which is D or make a virtual drive of E or lower and it would work perfectly if it could...

Oh thank you so muuuch! The Q2 music is one of the main reasons I play, lol - I love it.
I'm DLing the soundtrack and daemon-tools now and I'll let you know how it goes, hopefully I don't have to come back and be all "It's not wooorking" 'cos I'm noob :P EDIT: It worked! Thanks though the music only plays once per level and doesn't repeat, which is a little odd - but I can live with it.Fantastic! Last edited by F2Pelerin118: 08-09-2011 at 07:19 AM. Has anybody ever discovered why it only plays the music once and then stops?

This looks like another thread worth posting this too. If you use nquake/ezquake or any derivative with mp3 support and use winamp, I wrote a script for it to autoplay the tracks from playlist setup in winamp, plays whatever format you can put through winamp including directly off the CD and allows for volume changes through console or by any method you like to change volume in winamp.
The info is in the sticky faq for quake 1. Should be page 3. |
