Fix For those using steam and failing to launch K&L: DeadMen

Hey All if you bought Kain & Lynch: Dead Men on steam and can not launch your game the most likely culprit is a defective xlive.dll, which is a PC version of xbox live client... because this game requires that you have an xboxlive account, silver will work fine if you are just going to play single player. Anyhow that aside, you can follow the steps on this link to restore your xlive.dll and it should allow you to play. Hope this helps

Downloaded games live, installed it, registered for a silver. And Kane and Lynch fired up for the first time since I bought it a year ago Only to be faced with a new problem Games live popped up and everything froze. Do you have any idea how to adress this? Why is it us as customers who have to fix this? Why not steam or square enix?

You can play online with a silver account. They changed that about 4 years ago or so? Something like that. Thanks for the fix btw, it's nice to see support instead of complaints.
