Click To Deploy?

I'm playing as the UK and am on turn 6 but I've got a message "click on a unit to deploy." However I've right and left clicked every unit stack, garrison, airport, dock, city and pretty much everything you can click on but I can't select anything. The interface that is usually on the right of the screen isn't there now (I assume because it's waiting for me to "click on a unit to deploy," but it won't let me select anything!).
I also tried to register on the official site but got the following:

Can anybody please help because I was enjoying the game up to this?

By the way, because of this problem you can't even quit the game. You have to close it down with Task Manager!

Btw, I tried directly emailing the games publisher's about not being able to register on their forums and the error message I kept getting when I tried. I never even got the courtesy of a reply, even just to acknowledge my email.
So I would advise anybody to avoid this game. If the game's publishers don't care, why should anybody else?
