Today's Steam Daily Deal has to be the worst timing for a sale I've ever come across. "Hey, why buy it for as little as $1 and get several games bundled with it when you can buy it in the Daily Deal for a whole lot more?!" Hmmm, let me think about this for a moment...

Well, personally I don't care about the other games in the bundle, and would rather get it straight from Steam as a way to give my support to the only Steam game by a studio from my country
![]() (not intending to disrespect the bundle at all. I've spent over $100 on bundles like that in the past) |

If you buy it on Steam, roughly half of the money goes to Valve (there are no public numbers, but the public consensus seems to be, that Valve takes at least a 40% cut from indie developers, possibly higher).
If you buy it in the bundle, you can decide how much you pay and all of that money can go to the indie developers of the bundle and/or charity if you want. Buying it on Steam would be stupid on multiple levels ... (last but not least: if you buy the bundle, you'd actually get a couple of good games - this, sadly, isn't).
