Crashing When Starting New Game

Well, I found this really cheap so I figured I'd give it a shot even though it's not officially rated to run on Vista. I thought everything was going to be fine since the game started up and played all the intro videos and such with no incident but then as soon as the Loading screen pops up, I get an AppCrash.

Any thoughts or ideas? Anyone HAVE this running on Vista x64?

Did you get the game on Steam?
I bought this game from Get Games for $9.99 and it was crashing at the loading screen. Their support is useless and they have no forums (guess they didnt invent forums in the UK yet).
Also their custom DRM is incorporated in the game program itself and most likely the cause of the crash issue.

Then i took a chance and got the game on Steam and it works perfectly on my Win7 64bit.
