Un-nerf the Steak Sandvich

It was almost useless with the 150 HP healing properties; now that valve removed the ability to throw any of them for yourself, the steak sandvich in particular is even more useless.

Perhaps if they give the steak sandvich the ability of the "portable medium health kit", it won't be useless.

Then people would just use the Steak all the time for the meat throw and the problem with the 450hp Heavy would be unsolved. Steak needs to be balanced, but in a different way.

That...defeats the entire purpose of the Sandvich nerf.

The instant health kit was just a flat out bad idea. Period.

Calling the Steak useless.

Did you ever think of using it to getting to the front quickly? Did you ever think about the ability to heal that Medic healing you?

Read into it's abilities, think about different ways to use them, and then call it useless if it really is, but the Steak is just as good as Sandvich, maybe better.

The steak is pretty situational currently, you can just use GRU for the faster move speed and your primary of choice is always more reliable than mini-critting melees. IMO, it could use the droppable health kit, but less powerful, like only 50 health for anyone that picks it up. That or buff the consimption effects.

Give it faster eating and nerf the GRU, and it's a pretty good mobility tool.

You can still heal your Medics and stuff with it, fyi.

Or just allow it to be cancelled by switching off your melee weapon.

This I'm okay with. Deal and take Minicrits, and move fast, but speed boost and damage increase is cut off if you try to switch.

Makes it on par with the Sandvich instead of an arguable downgrade.
