There is also a weird problem only when using the 360 contoller. If you pan the view, when the game tries to refocus the camera on your character it sort of "pops" or "lurches" into position at the last minute, causing the movement to feel unsmooth. It's subtle, but annoying.

You can see this if you just pan the view while your charater is standing still, but it happens when you're moving and using the view to steer as well. This doesn't happen with the mouse and keyboard, only the 360 controller. I'm not sure if the Xbox version had this problem or if it's a result of the game being optimized for mouse and keyboard. Either way, it would be nice if it got fixed!

Congratulations Remedy for misleading people that were looking to play this game in 3D. If you knew it had issues or you were simply clueless to what working 3D looks like, you should have left that out of your game's features on the Steam page for this game. My request from Steam for a refund resulted in me getting the cookie cutter response to request support from the developer, so here I am.

My gaming budget has constraints so I look for things that make me decide if I want one game over another. Having 3D support was the feature that made me decide to buy this game instead of something else.

Ditto Arioch888, exactly the same situation. Bought this game for the 3D and am now asking for a refund due to blatant false advertising.

I did not experience any graphical issues at all.

Very happy that the field of view seems to be a lot better than most console cross over games as that is one of the reasons I dont touch console games in general.

I was enjoying the game immensely.

Unfortunately I got to Espisode 6 and the save broke. Now nothing happenes triggering events which I need to progress. I am stuck with a game I cannot finish.

I dont even know if its worth playing it through again because I cant be sure the same thing wont happen.

I checked walkthroughs concerning what should happen on the journey to cauldron lake in epsidoe 6. It isnt happening, no enemies at all along the road and fieds and no script starts which is supposedly meant to happen on the bridge.

Bit of a disasterous end to a game that kept me engrossed all weekend.

The game requires 2x AA minimum to have on. Enable that and your problem is solved.

Please do look at providing an alternative to the mouse+keyboard steering scheme as well, atm the off-center thing makes me feel like I have to keep turning constantly... And the mouse lag/"floaty" issue is very important.

Thank god.
I hope that's the "File IO failure: createDirectoryFailed, error code 5"-error I am experiencing.

This is one of two issues I have.

It seems that using the command -noblur works up until a cutscene, then afterwards it is back. Resulting in having to exit the game and restart in order to get rid of the motion blur again. I'll be honest, I can't say if I've noticed this happening after EVERY cutscene but it has happened on several occasions.

Neither of these are gamebreaking but can become quite irritating at times. Fair play to the Remedy guys for actually coming here and listening to feedback with the intention of supporting their title.

As you can see in this thread, CrossFireX mode is crashing on 79xx cards (it appears to be working fine with previous Radeon series). Not sure if the problem can be fixed by Remedy or AMD, but anyway you could take a look at that thread and grab the BSOD minidumps files generated. This happens when using the 12.1 CAP3 profiles, optimized for Alan Wake.

Another problem (this one minor): the game won't let us choose a bezel compensated resolution in EyeFinity. I have my desktop set at 5760x1080 (3x1920x1080), and have created a bezel compensated resolution of 6048x1080. I can choose 6048x1080 in every game that supports EyeFinity, except Alan Wake, the maximum is 5760x1080,

@LordJuanlo we're looking at the 7900 CF issue.

For the eyefinity bezel, have you tested specifying that resolution from command line? (-w6048 -h1080)
