Cant get steam to start up
I havent opened steam in about a week, and today I tried to open it but it wont start. I can see the process running, it lasts for about a minute then the process disappears and I get no error message or anything.
WTF I also just noticed that in the task manager, under services, I can see "Steam Client Service" and its stopped. When i try to start it, it says "Cannot find the file specified" Now I'm really confused. Last edited by CaptMclovin: 01-27-2012 at 07:45 PM. |

Don't try to deactivate your anti-virus to open Steam.
Instead just delete everything connected to Steam, run a complete scan on your PC, and then redownload Steam. |
