Witcher Intro and Movies Sync Fix

Hello all, some of you may notice the intro movie and other movies are slightly out of sync with the audio, can stutter, pause, and generally drop frames.

A simple fix is to use an older version of the bink dll file.

Just download this small file here or here. Then replace your binkw32.dll in this directory:

Steam\steamapps\common\the witcher enhanced edition\System

In my opinion this thread should be sticky'd, because without this bink dll replacement, the movies have serious issues for most players.

Thanks alot, I just bought the game and could not figure out why my audio was messy in the intro. Normally I wouldn't care but I really want to love this game. Anyway, this worked, thanks.

I'm surprised that Steam has not released an official fix/patch for this and this issue is still prominent in the Enhanced Edition of witcher ...

Come on Steam, get with the program ...

Similar issue with the Max Payne game!

Hmm, yeah Gamefront link is dead. Well, that was a binkw32.dll from another game that just happened to work. I forget which game though...you could copy one from another one of your games and see if it works.
