Trine Review (with Trine 2 review coming soon)

Hi all

I recently finished writing a review of Trine 1. Here's an abstract:

It's very difficult to know where to start. On one hand, I feel like putting some thoughts together regarding Trine is well overdue, whilst on the other hand, it's actually fairly daunting. Trine has appealed to me in more ways than I expected when I first sat down to play it, and even now, on my third or fourth playthrough, I still find myself swept away by the game's grandeur.

Trine's outstanding visual aesthetics and compelling soundtrack are just the tip of the iceberg as solid gameplay and well implemented puzzles expose the game's true beauty.

Full review with screenshots here: http://twolofbees.com/cheesetalks/trine.php

Discussion/comments welcome (especially from anybody who disagrees with my comments regarding the soundtrack )

I'll be writing a review of Trine 2 when it's released, looking at how the game has evolved and changed.

Indeed this was a nice read. But of course, I'm biased, so...

Just finished Trine 2.

If somebody had've told me 6 months ago that Trine 1's visuals could be significantly improved upon, I'd not have believed them. Trine 2 blows them completely out of the water.

Should have a review that looks at Trine 2's strong and weak points and how it compares to its predecessor soon

Very nice review, thanks! It quite nicely described everything I felt unique and well done in Trine, but couldn't find proper words for.

Putting together bits and pieces for my Trine 2 review. It might take another week or two.

In the meantime, did anybody find this fellow: http://steamcommunity.com/id/cheesen...lter=app_35720
