1.- Record a demo. (Go to a map and type record (nameofthedemo) in console, kill some npc's, then type stop in console.

2.- Start Srcdemo, put your settings.. In my case I want 25 Fps and the motion blur rate 10. Now Activate Srcdemo

3.- Go to GMod and type the number of fps in my case is 250, so host_framerate 250.

4.- Now type in console startmovie srcdemo/blablabla_

5.- Type in console playdemo (nameofthedemo)

6.- Wait till the demo ends and type in console endmovie

7.- DONE!

I think you mixed up the directories. The mountpoint is where the games will think it is saving .tga frames (so that srcdemo2 can catch them). The output directory is where SrcDemo2 will save the real frames.
Still, if you got 4 frames outputted, then you probably selected them correctly (just got them wrong in your message). A possible cause is that you didn't set the proper host_framerate or you didn't select the video parameters that match a framerate of 25 in SrcDemo2. What video parameters did you use? Can you put a debug log (because it says all of that information in there)?

Still, if you got 4 frames outputted, then you probably selected them correctly (just got them wrong in your message). Reduced default audio buffer size from 4 megabytes to 1 megabyte
Added "(Unstable)" to "Enable preview" checkbox label
Made preview picture disabled when the application does not have focus to further mitigate the memory access error in Qt
Bundled Apache libraries inside main package instead of external files (makes installation size smaller)
Slight performance improvements in non-debug mode
Now with 100% more secret stoats

Released a new build today. You can download it from http://code.google.com/p/srcdemo2/downloads/list as usual.
Changes include:

Launcher will now automatically probe the Java installation to check if a server JVM is available, and use that instead if there is. The server JVM takes longer to start but offers better performance. If you've downloaded Java regularly or don't know what this is about, then you probably don't have a server JVM. You can get it by downloading the JDK corresponding to the version of Java you already have installed (most likely version 6, so you would press the "JDK" download button for "Java SE 6 Update 31" at the time of this writing), installing it, then copying "(JDK installation path)\bin\server" to "(JRE installation path)\bin\server". You can then check if it worked by running the command "(JRE installation path)\bin\java -server -version". If it doesn't complain, then you did it right.
Force garbage collection to be performed regularly, despite Java supposedly guaranteeing this in the first place
Default garbage collection algorithm is now the parallel one, which means it should not impact performance on multicore systems (performance should stay the same as long as the programs runs)
Default maximum allowed memory usage increased to 1024 MB
Added various default flags to the JVM to reduce memory usage and increase performance further (string cache, compressed strings, lower compilation threshold, smaller default thread stack size, bypass class loader checks)

This build should last much longer than all previous ones. I hereby shamelessly present the Dear Esther walkthrough I have used as a benchmark for this build (1080p highly recommended). (Full disclosure: This clip is actually the concatenation of 3 separate renders because I started rendering this before all the above changes were made, and I uploaded the result once I had it. I then rendered the next part of the walkthrough (The Buoy, 15 minutes, 450fps) with this build in only 2 parts but have not uploaded it yet. I hope to be able to render the third or fourth part in only one go...)

All it does is export a Wav.

I have everything set up correctly (as far as I know) and all it is exporting is a wav. I have export Video on.

Someone just reported the same in the facepunch thread, so I'm starting to think it's a legit bug in the latest version, but sadly with so little information there is not much I can do to pinpoint it. Need a log file, and also test if the same problem happens in the previous version.

By log file, I mean launch it in debug mode (the entry for that should be there in the start menu). I suspect the output will be just as informative though (which is to say: not), so could you poke me on IRC (I'm WindPower on freenode) to experiment quicker?
