Daily Deal - Funny Numbers?

Just Cause 2 - $14.99 on sale for $5.09 - 66% off
Just Cause 2 Strategy Guide - $9.99 on sale for $3.39

Now if you add the two together you get

Original price $24.98 on sale for $8.48

Yet there's a package for sale advertising 66% off with the following numbers;

Original price $29.98 on sale for $10.19

So what am I missing here?

You know it's not always a conspiracy. Sometimes it's just what it looks like, a sale. Great game, good sale. Well worth the price.

It looks like the game was recently reduced in price from $19.99 to $14.99, but their bundle hasn't been updated to reflect the new price.

The guide is worthless and it's embarrassing that you even thought about using a guide in the first place.

All guide are worthless imo when you have sites like gamefaq for when youre really stuck. In a game like Just Cause 2 its impossible to not know what to do next :P

That's the point though, the sale bundle costs more than if you bought the two of them separately.

I wasn't planning to purchase the guide. I just saw the bundle and noticed that the numbers didn't add up.

Whats wrong with those prices? $6.79 USD converts to £4.29 which is actualy 50p less than it's listed for over here in the UK?

I'm going to save everyone a lot of money by not having to buy the Brady Guide. Are you ready? Blow everything up. That advice will get you through the whole game.
