wish id have read this first

i just purchased this game on steam and havnt been able to play due to it saying does not support 64bit , i could not find any info to this prior to purchase in steam store, it would be nice if steam or valve whichever would supply a little more info in store and also dont sell crap

Works fine for me on 64bit Windows 7, didn't have to do anything special to it. Don't understand why you would get that error when I don't.

Indeed. And to take it one step further, the whole 'license system' they use where you are not actually purchasing a game , but mearly buying a users license is in conflict with EU law... if they would cancel your license to the purchased games for whatever reason.

Necro threads just confuse people though.

I was reading the OP to this thread and it took me a couple of minutes to see he was talking about CitiesXL.

I have no idea how 2012 is but this thread should be locked as it is just misleading.
