I loved Breakout and Arkanoid, but this game is way better than those. (I love how I have to word this next part) The "suck and blow" is a nice addition, and the aiming system using it is nice too I also like how it posts your friends' scores to beat. I just got through the Story Mode in my first run and managed to get the "Master Batter" Can't wait to try out the other modes.

If you are considering picking up this game, do it, it is fun.

Thanks Sidhe for reworking this genre, and creating a solid, fresh, and entertaining game.

I bought Shatter twice. One time on PS3 and one on Steam. The game is awesome, with cool music.

I hope Shatter 2 comes at dsome time.

i picked this up in a xmas deal on steam a while back. once I started playing it, I couldn't stop till i beat it (well the base missions at least)

I'm usually hesitant to pick up breakout-inspired games because this is a game that is used as a starter for most game development beginning tutorials but shatter really gives a fresh experience.

Didn't you mean " A great game"? because it is. I also got this for xmas while back as a 5 game bundle for 5$, end up playin this game the most because its that good and enjoyable, and the music...omg, so good. If you love arkanoid you'll love this one.

Great brick smashing action with a cool electronic soundtrack and flashy graphics.
Local co-op is interesting too.

Make sure to play it at no less than 60 fps, a mouse might also be preferable.

Loved bejeweled 3, audiosurf and beat hazard but shatter is becoming my favourite of all , one of the best of these type of games, all gamers should try this.
