Won't run in fullscreen mode

I can't seem to get this game to run in fullscreen :/
Whenever I try, regardless of resolution, it'll close the intro screen, and then my computer's desktop will keep flashing to black and then back, until I manually terminate the process in task manager. I've let it sit for 10 minutes, and there will be no change. I can normally run in windowed just fine, but I prefer fullscreen over windowed mode.
Obviously, if I could take a picture I would, but I can't, as the screen would just be black or it'd just show my desktop. Haha.
If anybody could help me out it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
