Anyone know if this includes the classic BT games?

Reviews for the physical copy of this game on Amazon seem to imply it comes with a "bonus" on the disk of the classic BT games. Anyone know if the Steam version does as well?

I am almost positive that it does not come with the original games.

If Steam should ever put this game on sale (still waiting) I would buy it and find out for certain, but again, I'm pretty sure that it doesn't include the original games.

I do have the hard copy, and it does come with the original games (which I absolutely love - I mean, come on, who doesn't love using graph paper to map out towns and dungeons).

It's 5 bucks. I'd like to know as well. Would maybe push over the buy/don't buy line. Right now I'm quite comfortable on the don't buy side.

They now say it has been updated to include them as of todays date.. I bought the game// but they do not show. have filed a support ticket.

I spoke too soon.. Steam just started an update for the game.and the original trilogy is there! cool!

Yup, I now have the originals as well. (And I'm certainly dating myself from remembering these from my IIgs days)

The audio is stuttery tho- which is a showstopper for this title.
Anyone have a workaround/fix for that?

Hmm my audio is fine. I'm on windows/Vista machine.. have not seen any real issues, so might be something related to your setup. Sorry not much help here

So how do the original games look now? I remember playing Bards Tale 1 and 2 with CGA graphics back in the day, did they do any kind of updating?

John,

The same was happening to me. Apparently its an issue with windows and sleep/hibernation. Got this from tech support:

"Sorry for the trouble. This is caused by a windows bug that sometimes causes timer instability after your computer comes out of sleep/hibernate mode. If you restart your computer it will clear up the problem."

As soon as i rebooted the audio issues went away. Hope this helps.

No, it's only the first 3 games. Probably because they used the Apple IIGS versions (i guess because they also released it on Mac) and the Construction Kit was only released for PC and Amiga.
