I think there's an option to enable it in the options menu. Try looking in there, and press the tilde key (~) to access the console.

Try this; see if it works:

This should work regardless of your keyboard layout. If it doesn't, add -console to the game's launch options and type bind your_key toggleconsole (replace your_key with the key to open the console).

Would anyone be willing to post some before/after screenshots?
I've seen Deluxius screenshot collection, but I'm not able to tell the difference.

Today I've bought your awesome (anti-)game and modded the out of it right away
Thank you for this thread, Rob!

I'd also love some direct before vs. after comparisons.

its hard to create before / after screenshots since you'd need to dump the world position and camera angle to the consoles, note it down, then exit the game, change the values, restart the game, warp to position and snap your view to the right angle.

So i just went ahead and made some "maybe useful" instructions.
(note: after tweaking, including aa override, the game took to long to start via steam, so i just fired up the .exe. Thats why the last 3-4 screenshots had to be uploaded using a 3rd party site, sorry about that)

1. Find a good position then make a snapshot click

2. Open your console and enter spec_pos, note the values on a piece of paper: click

3. quit the game, make the changes you wanted to make

4. fire up the game once again, enter the commands on the picture into the console( sv_cheats 1 is needed for setpos and setang ), the commands being (in this case):
sv_cheats 1
noclip
cl_detailfarscaledistance 100000
setpos value_1 value_2 value_3-64
setang value_4 value_5
(the values are those you wrote down from the previous spec_pos, dont forget to substract 64 from the third value)
click

5. Take a screenshot with the new "tweaked" visuals click

6. Thats it, thanks for your patience bonus

Rob one question though:
Is there any possibility to change the quality - used to create screenshots via F5 - to 100? I do believe that the last 10% matters. . . and i want to make sure that the pictures are made with the same quality. . .

And since i dont want to forget it, the final side by side view (not cleanly fifty % left / right, since then wouldn't have been much left to compare . . .)
click

jpeg_quality controls the quality if .JPEG screenshots, if it's what you're looking for.

You also might be able to use either screenshot or snapshot to save the screenshots as .TGA (a lossless format) and then losslessly convert them to .PNG to ensure that no detail is lost to artifacts.

I got everything to work but this:

ui_gamecompleted 1

This unlocks the alternative ending.

Am I missing something? Ending was the same as the original.
