Just to be clear, are you using the PC or Mac client?

This happens to me as well, on PC, but usually going the other way (community -> store). The wheel spins for about 1 second then stops, and nothing happens.

And I'd like to add that, for me, this happens with ANY link I ever click within a webpage through the Steam Client or In-Game web browser.

If I click a link from a chat window it'll load fine. However, if I click (for example) HOME at the top of any community page the majority of the time it just won't load, with the spinning icon disappearing after a few seconds.

I'm using PC too. Page transition isn't a problem for me today as it has been in the past but when I click on one of my friends names in the "manage friends" list it doesn't open a messaging window. If i click on the friends link at the top of the page and open up the sub-window I can send messages through there via the drop-down menu.

I have same issue, also if you are on community same situation for shop.
You have to press on the link fast like 10 times and maybe it works sometimes. It happens only on client (PC) on web page it works fine, also if you click on any link on community/store page (inside of the client) it works, just the big buttons on the top dont work.

Sometimes if i want to go to shop, i go to my profile and click on any game i played currently to get to the shop. It is one solution, but not that comfortable.

PS: now it seems to work, but it often doesn't.

This been happening alot lately. I don't think it is related to how much/fast you click the Community button though. It just sometimes it doesn't work.

Pretty sure we're all PC clients here. It happens on both my Vista & Win7 machine.

It happens to me too, but not always (and not nearly 98.5% of the time...). I'm on the PC client like many others here, and also like with other people the problem is not confined to the Community tab but sometimes also happens with the Store.

I have never had to restart the client to fix this: clicking multiple times always worked so far.
