Exclamation Custom Map Site

Hi,

I've started a DoD site called Bloody Gulch to feature some custom maps

I've got three maps so far:

Bloody Gulch based on the classic Halo Blood Gulch
Planter's Field a mission to protect a Major
Secret of SmallTown sneak into town to steal secret papers.

Stop by and download one

i followed the readme to the letter, and did the cagebreak thing (but i used cagebreak on the Blood Gulch level and there isnt a cage file?)

anywho

i get to the loading screen and then after a moment if I click it will pop up that the game has crashed

what am I doing wrong? I can play the rest of the game just fine

You didn't follow the readme to the letter. I never said run cagebrake on BloodyGulch.

You run cagebrake on your game to extract the files. Then you unzip BloodyGulch.

Start up the game, go to console, load game, play.

All Im here to say is I love all the custom maps on your site!

Its a shame this game isn't more popular (granted it is a little rough) because the game has so much potential and needed a bigger community.

But thank you to all the custom map makers out there for providing us a glimpse into what could have been

There's no install instructions for the level editor the maps require, where am i supposed to place it? because when I put it in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\darkest of days

It just crashes, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Are there any plans to expand or enhance this excellent game? The historical scenarios are really good. I only wish the game would continue on to part 2 or even an expansion pack with new scenarios.
