Problem with Counter-Strike 1.6 Steam

Hello, my problem is with the game Counter-Strike 1.6. When I'm playing the game locks me, I closed the steam account and I get the game. I could tell how to fix it? Or if I did something wrong in the installation of steam, thanks for your attention

If you mean the game is locking up your computer, it could be any number of issues. Can you give us your system specs as that will be a good place to start?

Also, do you notice a trend as to what is happening when the game locks up or if it is after a certain amount of time?

I entered the game, spend about 20 minutes and cuts me off. Since I bought this happening to me.
I have windows xp professional
AMD Sempron
Memory 1918MB RAM
Video Card Nvidia GeForce 6150SE

it helps you a bit???

I would appreciate if you tell me what happens with this game

List you pc specs with OS

If you have Vista or win 7 run steam as admin

Also when you start to play after joining a server alt tab out and check to make sure your firewall has not popped up

Your specs look fine.

What do you mean by "cut me off" and "lock me" ?

The best advice I can give without understand your problem fully is reinstall steam, then install CS 1.6 again and try.

Also make sure your Graphic Card Drivers are up to date. Go to nvidia.com and go to download section.
