I found this seller on Amazon who's offering the collectors edition for just 28 pounds.

That's nearly half the price that THQ is offering. I am not sure why it's so cheap, but who cares :P

A quick unboxing. First of all, this thing is HUGE.

That's a 30 cm ruler on top of the box for comparison purpose. I expected it to be big, but not THIS big. Storing this is going to be quite a pain. *rant*

Next, the outside. Removing the sleeve reveals the book design. Not the most original design, but it's still pretty.

The Litany of Purity. This is probably the main reason why I decided to sink 28 pounds for another copy of the game.

Pretty high quality replica. The folding on the fabric is not quite to my liking though. I might iron it later to fix the fold lines.

There's a slight issue with the back. It's curved. A minor flaw on an otherwise perfect replica.

The pocket for the litany seal is felt lined, which in my opinion is pretty damn nice of THQ. Also, space marine window

Typo! What on Terra? Just in case the image above doesn't work, this is what it says: "We aimed to capture to epic scale and nature of Forge World that...". The 2nd "to" should be "the" instead. Holy Terra. Don't you people at least proof read your own work? Plus it's not even that many words!

This two page spread is the only section in the book that actually has words (apart from the occasional titles). That's 500 words max. This is collectors edition. Put some more effort into it please.

Finally, the game and the card set. I wrapped the card with a strip of paper to stop them sliding around. Speaking of the game, I already registered one copy to my Steam account, so this is actually an extra copy..... Why are you all staring at me like that?

The artbook indeed is fantastic. Seeing so many Power Armour variants depicted is just brilliant, a lot of work went into getting the game into the right feel. Lots of passion from the artists

True that. Certainly pooped all over my CE of Retribution.

I'm hoping the DoW3 CE box will be a mini-dreadnought, complete with a spinning axis. :3

I myself got it for 30 euros, so even cheaper, i didn't really like how they left out all the chapter skins from the CE on release so they could make deals with different stores to make them pre-order bonuses, wich i can understand for the normal edition, but paying 70 euros (or even 100 euros in some stores here) on release for a CE should give you everything IMO.

So i just waited 2-3 months, bought the CE for 30 euros, some time later bought most of the DLC for a total of 5 euros, total cost 35 euros *insert success kid image here*.
