Problem with AVA launcher? (Game never shows, no error present)

The launcher will say "Updating to latest version" and then the launcher closes. I looked in task manager and it seems that REACTOR.exe closes about 2 seconds after i hit play now and then nothing happens after that. Why is this game so buggy and does anyone know a fix? This is making me very
