Mode not available

Hi,

it's long time since I played in DoDS, but today I decided to refresh it a little. So I installed it again, this time on a Win7 (used to playing wellat XP). And unfortunately when I first start the game, my monitor displays the inscription: mode not available. And in any way that I can not get around, I've tried with every possible resolution and nothing. Ps. I used previously the same monitor.
