Incoming message? X3: Reunion.

I just started a new game. When heading toward the jump gate it keeps saying "Incoming message". How do I read it? I have pressed every button on the keyboard but no message is received?

Hi YD
when you get the "incoming message" (with a beep) press P (for all your player-pilot info) and NEW MESSAGES will be there,
(if you've not yet read it it will flash so you know something new's there)
use the arrow buttons (left/right) to navigate these menus....

Took me a while to get used to their control setup but becomes second nature after a few missions...enjoy
