Warband
+ balanced units
+ making your on kingdom
+ combat is more fun
+ can acquire all troops without a major hassle
+ money is easier to obtain
+ more rouge groups like bandits and looters to grind on
+ bandit hideouts
+ can make a business in a major town
- options for expanding your towns a very limited
- horses will dominate all foot soldiers unless it is a siege
- large armies may be difficult to maintain(moral)
- little option on how a siege is commences
- only heroes are customizable

With Fire and Sword
+ guns make cavalry easier to deal with
+ caravan system
+ banks
+ custom armor
+ it is easier to have larger armies
+ more options in sieges
+ more options for you cities
+ can pay a faction to no longer be hostile to you
+ certain mercenaries can be customized
- can't have lords in for your rebellion
- sickness can kill your troops
- Winged hussars will pretty much devastate you if you are not careful( but they seem not to be that great on foot)
- guns can take a good chunk of health out of you
- glitches and bugs
- best troops are difficult to acquire if your not apart of a faction

Personally I think the have there pluses and negatives. Although, With Fire and Sword is more stress full to me so Warband is the better game. Guns also don't have the best accuracy so as long as you attack along the side the group of enemies you shouldn't get hit mind you that I ride a horse into battle.

Warband is of course a lot better, WFAS is just like a mod released like a separate product, if you bought Warband you could download for example The Deluge mod and play multiplayer which is similar, but a lot better than WFAS.

^^This is an opinion, and is not a fact. its a big If.

Anyhow I prefer Warband to wfas. wfas is a nice mod but there are much better mods that do guns and all this but much better. my advice get Warband and then mod in guns, or lightsabers, blasters etc to your hearts desire.

What would be the best mod to add guns, without messing with the rest of the game?
