Same problem here.. Game freezes as soon as I've done the last puzzle.

Anyone know a solution?

Are you guys sure it freezes and didn't simply slow down?
There's a rather extreme slow motion effect there... I guess you could tell the difference but you never know!

Edit: apparently it's a known bug, they refer to it on the FAQ:
http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=2047244

Good luck with it.

It's caused by forcing Vertical Sync to Off or something else in your NVIDIA control panel, set it to "Use the 3D Application Setting"

A good reason showing why not to deviate from recommended settings unless you:

  1. really know what you are doing
  2. are customizing settings which will only apply to a specific game
why would anyone need vertical sync off in a game like this?? it's not a first person shooter or a type of game where you need more than 60fps for crying out loud! it would seem a lot more useful not to have screen tearing in a case like this...

In my case, I had set Vertical Sync off globally because it ALWAYS gives me mouse-lag in any 3-D game. Probably my mistake, but that's what these forums are for, helping others.

many 3D games, especially shooters have their own VSync setting. I definitely get what you are saying though. It's probably 'safer' to just leave the global setting on 'determined by the Application', and then if you need to override a setting just create a 'profile' for the game under the Program Settings tab (on a game-by-game basis).
