Helm for buy

How about adding the Helm to buy without the vest like in first round you could buy the helm and get headshot protection for 350$.
So what do you think ?

That is your opinion , maybe some may share your opinion but others prefer to buy grenades other buys kevlar etc.

In my opinion I would have bought a Helm and a few grenades over a Desert Eagle.

we are trying two changes in competitive mode: buyable defuse kits and splitting helmets and Kevlar.

Oh my dear friend. That only means you can either buy just kevlar. Or kevlar + helmet. Not only helmet.

I dont like the idea, dont know why..just doesnt fit my taste.

No reason why we shouldn't be able to try it, this is a beta after all. It would certainly make pistols rounds a lot more interesting. You wouldn't know whether to aim at the face or the chest for the most damage.

You would still do more damage to the head. But it can make some annoying situations. Like 2 headshots with a USP and he runs on just as fine.

Hmm... Good point. I was assuming everyone had a deagle. Didn't even consider the USP or Glock. Still, couldn't hurt to try it out in the beta.

This doesn't really sound that good for pistol round then. But, in lower Eco rounds maybe against SMG's and Rifles except Sniper and the Ak. The new Shotguns though...
Everyone would just buy a helm and use default pistols or buy a desert eagle.

Thing is, you can afford to buy a helm + a tec9 if you're on T. I know where you guys are coming from, it's never been done before so it's risky, but it's a beta, anything can be tried.

If we don't like it, we just get rid of it.

Dont really want it to be visible though... I like the way the models look.



BUT, I would like to actually be able to CHOOSE my model. instead of being stuck with a map-specific model like Call of duty...

That's what I am saying , buying a helm will be like a cheap solution to bullet proff vest. The Vest only reduces like 10 or 20 % of the dmg. I will like to spend my money wise.
