I never play sniper, the team generally already has at least two and I can't play any better than them. I did go on a rampage once as a huntsman sniper but that was probably just luck.

I almost never play Spy. Cloaking effectively is very difficult, since both allies and enemies grab ammo crates before you csn get to them, and the Cloak And Dagger forces me to go at a snail's pace. Also, people are just too damn paranoid. I can use disguises pretty well, but unless I use Your Eternal Reward (which forces me to use my crappy cloaking skills) or I find some idiot by himself in an isolated place, I'm exposed once I stab him. The auto-reload option is great for every class...except Spy and his revolver.

I never play Engineer by myself. I will definitely go Engineer if there's another Engineer on my team because the main reason I never go Engineer by myself is that my buildings get blown up before I can return for more metal (again, ammo crates are hard to come by on large teams, and I don't have the Eureka Effect.). While one Engineer goes and gets more metal, I'll use my metal to build/protect his Sentry and Dispenser. Once he returns, I'll do the same. Once they're both about halfway to Level 3, I'll go off and build my own.

I play Pyro a lot though (in actual games, not just Prophunt, though I play a lot of that too.) I follow the Northernlion's ABC's of Shooting: Always Be Circlestrafing. It works about half the time, which is good enough for me. Any time I'm in the top 5 of the scoreboard is a good day for me. The other half of the time, I snipe with the Manmelter, and ambush unaware people with the Backscratcher.

Medic. I'm a killer not a healer. I do well when I do play Medic, but only for a short period of time then I get tired of not being protected or I get the blood lust and feel the need to start killing.

I never play Spy, Sniper or Heavy.

I feel like those classes are the exact opposite of my way of enjoying TF2. Heavy is all about rolling around shooting at everything that moves and getting a headshot in the forehead in the end. In pubs, my team already has 3 snipers and 3 spies so why would I bother? Those classes are boring anyway. I don't feel like I'm challenged by making one hit kills.

Ironically enough the Medic is the leader of the team! In competitive TF2 anyway, I'll admit this often doesn't work out in public servers.

Heavy, never play him ever unless I'm messing around and not helping my team. Followed shortly by the Soldier, as he just feels so boring in a pub.

Stock Engi is a close one too. I'm a very offensive Gunslinger engi, and I can hold my own well enough. When it comes to defence I'll roll out Spy, Demo, or Medic depending on the situation.

I don't see how the Soldier is the jack of all trades. Have you ever seen him effectively battling someone at long range?

Pyro: counters favorite class. That class is just built around annoying you and making you rage heh. M2 all day, erry day. Why can't you m2 when you see me burning and running for that healthpack that I always die at when I'm an inch away?

SNIPER

My aim is great when I play as all of the other classes but when it comes to that...thing...

I hate him when I play it and when the rest are playing as him.

Sniper. I can bodyshot and never miss, but headshots are impossible for me.
