So for 3$ I wasn't expecting much but I was expecting more than this...being able to move a few things while they remain in a static location on some shelf. The physics are well done, I'm suggesting this game be a free demo or 1$..it does not merit a 3$ price tag.
not a flame post, commenting on the price vs value. |

Nope, that's definitely not all!
See the cube in the bottom right hand corner? Put that into the hole above the door.

Yep I really, really like it but from the OP's description I think he may not have realised there was more than 1 level

The game is still pretty damn short, I completed it in probably 15 minutes. A few of the levels literally lasted seconds before I figured them out. Loved it, but it does need some more levels.

Beaten it in 30 minutes. I was smiling through the whole game, it looks cool and it is clever, though I thought it was way too short, even for its price.

You put too much value in $3. Not that I advocate tossing money away without a thought, but I can't see myself creating a thread about a $3 game and suggesting it is overpriced while admitting it has good physics. If it is worth $1, it is not out of the realm that it is worth just two whole dollars more.

Well I admit I did the same as the OP. Saw the short download and the opening level and thought 'is that it'. Then came here and felt stupid.
![]() I have a feeling I'm gonna feel pretty stupid throughout the whole game!

Worth Every Penny!
I had this on my list for forever, only downloaded it this morning as I had nothing better to do. I was surprised by the comments above, I loved the concept and although short (completed in about 30 mins) I would have paid £5.00 for this. Pure genius! Besides, what does $3 get you? I know its about £1.90 here and that will get you practically nothing!

I would say it is worth a penny.
Some of the screens are clever, some are more an exercise in clicking on everything. Not worth $3 to me, fortunately I got it in a pack along with some much better games. |

This game supplies the best of the best when it comes to interactive flash art, simple as that. It really makes it worth the tiny asking price.

If you really want more 'value' for the game (that word is amazing isn't it?), then check out the website. It has a few more fun toys.
As for the length, sure, I mean we all wish it were longer, but that's only since we enjoyed it so much. I mean, practically every game I really enjoyed I wanted more by the end. Considering the price and the length, it's not bad value though. Example: Portal 2 is currently $50. I beat it in about 8 hours. That puts it at about $6.25 per hour. If Windosill took 30 mins, then it clocks in at $6.00 per hour. Throwing stingy rate observations aside, what you did pay for was an expertly crafted clever game. The only game mechanic is exploration, which turns out to be pretty fun. You also get some nice art and something to share. Even more, your supporting the artist. With some funding it can give the author incentive to continue and create more. For example, the creators of Amnesia almost went bankrupt a number of times during their dev. process. I'm so glad they managed to finish it however, since it was one of the best video game experiences I ever had. Anyway, I enjoyed Windosill, and it's a nice grab for $3 (or alternatively you could buy a Big-Mac). |

Indeed a beautiful game. Exceptionally short and exceptionally nice. As people have said, do not expect a gory FPS here. Just different - will enjoy even more if you buy it in a sale
