Next Unreal Tournament

Theres a lot speculation that the next unreal game will be on the Unreal 4 engine.
UT2003 and 2004 were both on the Unreal 2.5 engine.
I can only dream of seeing another one to match the standards of UT3.

The next Unreal game I would like to see it brought back to the tournament.
Forget the terrible story in UT3.
What would you like to see in UT2013?

For the next UT, I'd like to see a recreation of the UT99 game play along with an option for UT 2004 style game play. I'd also like to see a slick, fast, first-rate user interface and server browser designed for PCs and not compromised by consolization. Also, get rid of the Gamespy log in and revert to the way UT99/UT 2004's server browser worked (but never ever count bots as players).

UT3's user interface and server browser were an embarrassing abomination that made UT3 feel like a half-finished console port (when it was released).

I don't mind the UT games at all....but what i REALLY want is a new Unreal game. I'll take Unreal 3, a sequel to Unreal, using the Unreal Engine 4, ir hell even UE 3. I'll even take Unreal remade in UE 3.

Just pack everything from 2003, 2004, and UT3 into one nice package, and I'm sold. I was disappointed by the lack of features in UT3 from previous games.

they said they weren't making a UE4 because UE3 is very flexible in terms of upgrades. just watch the Samarithan video. imagine those graphics with old school UT gameplay, UT3 innovations and... BRING. BACK. ASSAULT!

Basically take all features from past games and include them. Balance everything carefully so gameplay is acceptable even to vets. And stop ♥♥♥♥ing remaking deck. Jesus christ!

why? it's a great map which deserves to be in every UT game. that and Two Towers. and Torlan

Except that noone really plays the stock UT maps. Custom maps are where the fun is at.
Or are you one of those guys who's still playing UT2004 demo?

well I guess all my friends i've been having fun on both stock and custom maps are imaginary eh?

I love it when people prefer one game type/map to the other and somehow consider their preference a general standard

Unreal Engine 4 will be on display behind closed doors at the 2012 GDC.
