Are you predicting that the percentage of people who buy RRU and want a refund is going to be similar to the percentage of people who bought FO3 and want a refund?

Just let them rename it to Flatout 3, then at least we have a decent game And let's give them this game, then compare the complaints

But it is predictable Bugbear will get some heat for their game and even logical but don't you dare try to compare these two games, we only wish FO3 was even close to Ridge Racer Unbound quality.

It's one thing to take a game into another direction and a risk. It's a totally different thing what has been done to Flatout, that's just plain incompetence.

Most players that are wanting to try a patch Flatout 3 are waiting for the demo before they will take the chance on buying FO3.
Personally i only buy games after having played a demo (minus 3 exceptions), so I can't agree more with those people.

Our client has decided that this week's demo is good enough to go public, finally. So i've got good hopes they will finally release it now and look forward to some positive responses once released

Well.. actually i already posted the featurelist of update7 on our website (flatout3.team6-games.com) early last week.. But yes, next time it's wiser for me to actually wait when the patch is being distributed.

When our self-published titles are finished (end of April), i can announce right away again

Update7 - Now estimated for 27-29 february.

- Made cars and general gameplay feel 'heavier'.
- Improved A.i. behaviour in 'race' mode.
- New free DLC, "bad boy" vehicle, custom-made for Leon Furst for his ubercool and fun review which gave us a good laugh at Team6.
- Added "Heddly's SkinPack" for everyone. Finally it's there Heddly!
- Increased field of view for F3 camera (forgot the name of the guy requesting it, but i know it was more than one..)
- Challenge / race mode: Don't have to be first anymore to proceed to next challenge.
- Added more end-of-race cameras. Someone at the forum can make really cool screens now, just like the ones on our website!
- Reduced intensity of rear- and brake light for all vehicles. (credits go to Heddly again)
- Enabled framerate display in the video menu. This means you can now see what settings affects the game performance how much, so you can try to keep it at a nice and steady 60fps.
- Tweaked various visual effects (sparks, tiresmoke on different materials, looks all less 'overdone' now).
- Some minor improvements on performance / rendering system.
- Reconfigured video-presets and video-customization menu.
- Fixed Area-P's impossible-challenge jump and lighting.
- 'Harbor' map has less sharp / tight corners / so many obstacles now.
- Fixed cars colliding without character eject in the 1st stuntmap, Windmill

Already read it on the site and it sounds good, especially the first 2 points
Hope it won't have any delay this time.

Tried, and it didn't help...

Besides... These days most new steering wheels (if not all) have 3 axis... Shouldn't the games support those?

They should, but FUEL, Blur and now Flatout 3 I had to combine my pedals to get my gas and brake pedals to work.

Have you enabled Logitech Profiler to start at system startup so it is running when the game starts?

FIXED my problems!!!
Before contacting support I decided to poke around some more.
It seems like FlatOut 3 don't like it when I have my joystick plugged into a usb port.
Most games don't care as they just detect both and then I can choose what I want to use.
FlatOut 3 decided that my 'hat' button and all pedals including the steering wheel it self, should have no effect at all when my joystick is plugged in.
But after I went into my hardware and disabled the joystick, then the game detects everything. I can even run the game with 3-axis active.
But it IS annoying that I have to remember to deactivate my joystick.
I HAVE my G25 set as the preferred unit, but the game don't realize that.
Seems to me, that would be a nice detail to fix in an upcoming update

Have you looked at your Windows Experience Index to see what may be causing a low score? Just a thought.
