Sooo.. Where do I find the code to redeem for the items you're supposed to get for starting the game?

The good folks at Valve are currently propping that information for you guys. We're told it should be good to go within an hour.

You can use this link to activate the CD Key to your Steam account and can then use it in game.

What do we do once we've clicked the link? I clicked it, it said success yet I don't see where or how to claim my items.

Alright guys so here is what you do. First go to the Steam store page entry for the game and click the link.

Once you've done that go into your library and click CD keys for the game.

Copy the CD key and log in-game.

Open the Charge shop via the menu on the bottom right.

Click promo code, paste your code in and redeem.

Check your item box in your charge shop to make sure you've got them.

Now head to a charge shop manager in the starter city. Drop the items from the NPC into your inventory.

I guess the last question is when the code for the horse will be released?

To get your items OUT OF THE ITEM BOX
Go to a Charge Shop Manager in town.

They are marked on the map as a RED CS

The UI won't let me actually PASTE my code. It's also way too long to be able to type it manually as it goes off the far right edge of the key dialogue.

At the top, the bar that says [____Item____][____Code____]

Well, if you hover over the line......................^

You will be able to shorten one side, so the FULL code is visible.

Wish I could type the code in at least... Why would they make it so hard to copy/paste or even type in the code? I tried notepad, opening steam ingame but nothing seems to work.

For some reason the cash shop is OVER THE TOP of Steam's overlay too, which means I can't move anything until I close the cash shop too.
