If you want to maximize your game time, click here.
Buying Rift on Steam does NOT start your 30 days of game-time, I'm posting this since I see a lot of people asking. Redeeming Rift on Steam lets you install/launch from Steam, and it gives you a CD-key that can be used anytime. Meaning you can make a Lite account on Rift's actual site, play to level 20 for free, THEN apply your key to start your 30 days of time AT level 20.
If you appreciate the help: http://www.riftgame.com/en/products/...=ascend_invite Use my referral link, you don't have to obviously, but I'd appreciate it in return. |

Do I have to download the Lite version to play to lvl 20 for free or will the Steam version work?
