This game reminded me very much of a simulator software we "played" in the army as pre-deployment training ..-i hear its called "virtual battlespace" and it was very similar to this other then this had a story..

Hi, I just picked up Dragon Rising in a trade. Thanks for the link although there seems to be an awful lot of mods there. I'm only gonna be playing SP and wondered which mods I should use? I guess:

Patch v1.02 /mod supported EXE
Ultimate AI 2011 Full

Would these two just be a good place to start? I get that I need to replace the original exe with the modded one and turn off auto updates within Steam, but where do I put the second (and any other) mod?

Put the Ultimate AI - 'data_win' in your OFDR directory.

Best missions to play are Island War and Special Forces Guerrilla Warefare as they allow for sandbox play across the entire Island.
