CS Loading screen banner problem

I went into this custom server and they basically changed the banner on the loading screen to their server's name and I didn't want it so I deleted it from my cstrike folder, problem is cs looks like this now:

any way to fix this to get the banner back or even just a blank black thing?

All that does is delete the image. He is looking to get the real image back. (I have this same "problem" so I know just what he's talking about.)

only thing that comes to mind would be deleting the counter strike folder. not sure what specific files would of been modded to make that happend, might be a glitch/bug.

try that see if that works

Yea I have this same problem aswell. When I delete the resource folder, I lose the banner including the default cs banner. I don't know how to get the old one back. It's not a real problem for me, it just annoys me that these server admins are doing this. And by the way, "cl_allowdownload 0" (read-only) does not work in this case, I have tried it and the server just have its way of bypassing it.

Do you mean delete my entire cstrike folder? If that's the case I'll just reinstall cs, but I'm glad I'm not the only one having the problem, I remember I've seen The Orange Box, Left 4 Dead, and I think the new one is Portal 2, however some people just have the banner but it's empty (black) screen.
