You sound as bad with money as my brother is. He's in Fort Campbell and he had to borrow $100 from me so he could take his wife to some military dance.

Get a bus pass.

Just save your money... You will realize that showing off is not that important. If you're only using it for a year what's the point? The money can be better off other places.

I take it you're in the military, what is your rank? I just want to make sure you're not below E5 as $24k is pretty high for that rank.

guys im not buying the car to prove anything. i personally, like beautiful cars and want to drive one. whenever I see a sleek car like the cls or genesis coupe I get joy out of it, its a piece of art in motion. I dont feel anything when I see the boxes with wheels out there. gotta drive something that moves you. dont psychoanalyze anything because you're bound to make it more complicated than what it really is. the cls is not built for speed, its built for swag, i got my bike which has plenty of the former, the cls is my cruising chair

my dream car is an older girl, 1969 lincoln continental, i love that car, but its a bit too expensive and at this moment, impractical. I got plans for her, just biding my time till then.

I thought about audis, not a big fan of bimmers - i was actually looking at an A5 today but in the end, i just keep being drawn to the A7, which was audi's answer to the cls. And well, imitation never tastes as sweet right?
