Is there a way to see all the Steam news on one page in the iphone app? Currently I have to switch between categories while I'd prefer to see everything listed below each other sorted on newest first. Maybe a category "all"?

I cannot copy the messages, it doesnt show the status but online/offline, it doesnt push notifications (iOS)

Please resolve these problems and add more improvement ASAP.

Is there going to be a native iPad version, I love Steam on my iPad, but it sucks in 2x mode.

I God l, using it on the Kindle fire isn't that's pretty, Id hate to wonder how it looks on the ipad.

Just to reiterate I think there needs to be a labelling of the specials so that we know if they are daily deals, mid week deals or weekend deals.

I remember seeing a quote that they'll work on a tablet friendly version once they're happy that the version out now is working well enough.

Greetings,

I created a thread yesterday asking for assistance as the app would no longer work on my iPhone. Well, I found the reason and thought that it should be noted in case others are running into the same error.

When attempting to log in I would receive a message stating that the proxy that I am using isn't compatible, even though I wasn't using a proxy nor using wifi. After a bit of research comparing my wife's phone and mine, I believe I found the culprit.

iOS 5.0.1 (9A406) was my firmware while hers was (iOS 5.0.1 (9A405). After downgrading my firmware to 9A405 I am now able to use the Steam app with no issues.

I think there should be improved syncing with the notifications between different mobile devices and the desktop program.

For example: You get a new message from a friend, and you get notifications on any devices running steam. Great. Now let's say you read that message on your desktop (to the point that the taskbar icon stops blinking, however that's defined) and/or reply to the message. That should get synced with the mobile devices now so that they are no longer showing notifications for new messages, since you already read/replied to that message on another device.

Other than that, great app so far! Does exactly what I expected it to do without any bugs or problems.

Installed this on my droid yesterday, and it's great. I've been hoping for an app that gave me access to Steam chat, and the store is much easier than using the full store in my phone's browser. Kudos!

Newest Android version (1.0.6) is much, much easier on my battery with the push notifications enabled. After 2 hours this morning while leaving the phone idle with Wifi on, I've only lost 4%. Yesterday at work for 8 hours with Steam running the entire time on 3G, I got down to around 63%, which is normal for my phone (it usually drops to 60-70% on any given day). Nice update

I have never received any messages through the iPhone, even while the app is open and focused on a chat. They'll come in on the PC but not the Steam Mobile app at all, and going offline on PC makes no difference. Sending works fine, the most I've ever got was the "..." to show someone was typing.

I didn't see that in the bug list and I would say it's a fairly significant issue.
