UserName is typing message bugged

Sometimes when I and my friends discuss something and one of us accidentally types in a symbol and doesn't erase it or send, the other side gets random "is typing" status and naturally waits for the message. After he loses his patience and asks when I'm gonna send it already, we quickly understand what's going on, but the good mood is spoiled by then. Kinda not cool, steam message box

they should make it work like msn... if you type and leave it .. then after about 10 seconds or something it'll stop saying you're typing
