[Video] First Impressions of Containment: The Zombie Puzzler

On my first impressions series I covered Containment: The Zombie Puzzler!

So if you are looking to hear/see more of the game and don't want to spend the cash right away.

If you liked this video please do come back and post it helps spread the word, about the game and my show (I'm just being honest).

Thanks for the video review. Very informative. I might just pick up this game as it looks interesting and is currently only £2.39 in the UK.

I am also now aware of your cool website

A decent review, I certainly look forwards to seeing more of your site - I disagree with the idea that the game needs theme music though, the heartbeat in the background with the soft chords behind it is perfect and actually integral to the gameplay. If you pay attention you realise that the more zombies are taking over your survivors the more the heartbeat speeds up - clear the zombies from the field and the heartbeat slows down.

For me, particularly when I was doing the harder puzzles later on, it really ratched up the tension and immersed me in the game. I got a great feeling of relief on several occaisions when that heartbeat had been speeding and I managed to bring it down to a more sedate level.

Just my opinion of course.

You do have a valid point and I do agree with you. I guess instead of theme music I should have said something like ambient sound cause while the heartbeat is a nice touch it does feel a bit empty at some parts. But yes some games do not require music to be great you are correct.
