Server List In MP Is Empty

So I can boot up into multiplayer just fine. I can go through the menus of character select/cutomization all without any trouble at all.

The trouble is that when I bring up the "Find Games" screen to pick a server to join, I find nothing. No servers, just an empty list.

Am I not detecting game sessions to join, or is it that there are none? I can't imagine the game is old enough not to have anyone online.

Is there maybe some different process to finding game sessions or am I S.O.L?

ive had terrible trouble with the above issue. i use a bt router and my sons lan connection was showing loads of servers. my pc however was not. even after going into the router settings and forwarding ports to each specific machine. couldnt work it out. even tried static ip adress's on my machine. one thing we are both using steam to launch the game. interestingly i found that in the steam directry that holds jka. ie steam/steammaps/common/jka (or something along those lines). there are 2 exe icon one for single player and one for m/p launching the game from EITHER of these exe's starts the single player. i'm not sure that bit is important or not maybe a techy can say. ANY WAY. after all that i have something u can try. for me it was easy because my sons m/p showed me lots of servers, clicking the server info button revealed the ip address of the server. i loaded up jka on my machine (m/p) and used the add favs option , typed in the ip address, and added it to favs. then searched /refreshed the server list and there it was. able to play no probs. this obviously is a problem if you dont know any ip adress. maybe a google search will reveal some good clan site's ip addys. so not so much a fix but a way round it.. hope it helps.

Best Advice for anyone....Buy the CDs at Office Max, Game Stop, or some small electronic store. 10$ that is it.

I do think its Steam that is the problem.

Yes, both master servers for JK2 and JKA were down. You could reach Ravensoft at their Facebook page. The server admin said:
"Why is it that the Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast master servers work fine for a year, and then go down on a weekend, when i'm not watching? yikes. I'm working on getting them back up. please stand by."

I couldn't post here on the Steam forums because it took the admins 14 days to approve my account.
