ok star trek online forum won't let me post at all and i never post on main star trek forum so i cannot have got ban from it any idea do you have to be gold member to post there

No, you can also post if you buy the game or purchase something using C Points (but C Points that you bought with actual money, not what you got off of dilithium exchange).
