Microraptor really was black

http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/no...our-and-gloss/

As it turns out DDD's colors are surprisingly close to the real animal, which is pretty awesome.

The only difference is that the real Microraptor had shiny feathers.

Now we have to prove that he spitted around causing his enemies unable to run.

And the full article is as always not available >(

There was a theory that the dinosaur Sinornithosaurus, related to Microraptor, had venom glands. However those claims have been refuted, if I am correct.

Thumbs up

I know, it's really surprising that the developers who made this game ACTUALLY got something right!!!

Just posted a link to an article about this on the facebook page! Guess I should have come here first...now I've got to look into how to add some iridescence to the Microraptor feathers. Hmmm...pretty sure we can do that...we'll see!

What's surprising about this, is that the developers guessed at the coloration for their Microraptor and they were right. If the developers couldn't do anything right than we wouldn't have a playable game. xD

I think they prefer the term "African Dinosaur".
