Widescreen/Custom Keys
Hey guys, is there a hack somewhere that I can install to run Pirates in widescreen? If not, is there some way that I can letterbox it so it isn't so stretched out?
Also, I'm trying to play this on a laptop without a number pad. My laptop has a function where if you press Numlk it will turn UIO into 456 and JKL into 123, but for some reason this doesn't work in Pirates, and I have no idea why. Is there some way to set custom keys? Last edited by flojito: 12-29-2010 at 01:05 AM. |

I tried the files provided and the game would'nt run.. you can always change the .ini file to to your liking but even at 1280 it cuts off the bottom of the screen/hud

To avoid cut off HUD in bigger resolution, it is neccesery to keep resolution aspect ratio at 4:3. The game can be launched in window mode by adding parameter "Fullscreen = 0" (without quotes) in file config.ini.
