Connection issues/Server problems?
Hi i've started playing L4D2 again and am having alot of problems going online. I just traded up to a MW3 320gig 360 and thought maybe the system was the problem, but I was playing Battlefield 3 online co-op fine. It takes longer for games to load from the lobbies. And alot of the time I get disconnected from live. Is anybody else having these problems? Are there problems with the servers? Anything I can do to fix it all? Thank you for any help.

These issues are pretty much global, although will be worse if you are in Europe as the servers are down right now. The only unusual part is getting disconnected from live. Sorry I can't help, but don't worry, you aren't the only one.

Things that happen when you are spending all your energies on the new DLC.
So forgive them. |

Yeah, if you're in Europe, you're screwed, lol.
Anyways, you can always try; • Opening ports - portforward.com • Setting up a static IP for your xbox • Placing your xbox in the DMZ (need access to your router set up) • Making sure UPnP is turned 'on' in your router set up. I was constantly getting kicked out of L4D1 games and off xbox live before I did this, but now I can stay in most games without any problems in L4D1+2. Good luck! |

Well, yes, I suppose, but it also really helped keep a 'stable' connection for me!
![]() If the games are taking ages to load from the lobby, try installing the game to your HD (think it's the 'Y' button from the dashboard when the game is selected...) Sometimes it takes a long time to load if the lobby leader has selected a local server. The servers fail quite a lot of the time when loading, we usually try either switching between dedicated server to local a few times then retrying, or simply switching host. I have the game installed but sometimes the loading seems neverending...
Anyway i live in europe and in any match i have the single red dot: luckily i can still play well. If it was COD or BF it would be terrible. |

I live in the United States and have really bad lag all the time. I cant figure out why.
When I play Halo or Gears of war the game plays flawlessly but in l4d2 I cant pick up items or reload. Its been like this for a couple of months. I give up!!
