Bump: Version 1.2 released. This should fix the crashes people have been experiencing with v1.1 and also offers the ability to disable the intro movies with a single click.

Very nice replacement. Tested the 1.2 version with Stainless Steel 6.4, Broken Crescent 2.3 and Third Age 2.1 (all KLA-installed, Kingdoms 1.5) and they launched with no problems.

Great work.

I just have one question though. Is this mod compatible with the Kingdoms Launcher App? I have a feeling that one would overwrite the other, but I thought I would ask anyways.

My launcher currently does not create/write any data, so it's perfectly safe to use with KLA.

'medieval2.exe' not found. Medieval2 TW needs to be installed.

I am positive I followed the correct installation procedure as per the readme.

Launcher.exe is in ...Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War

The file overwrote the original file.

Perhaps there was an update that broke the launcher?

EDIT: Using the "Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms" link in steam produces the error. Using the regular "Medieval II: Total War" link within steam works fine. The launcher then gives you the option to select the alternate kingdoms from the list on the right.

I don't understand what you are saying... Please explain how to put this in?

the launcher is disabling audio for some reason... and it wont run full screen! (windows 7 64 bit)
