Dead space 1 cd key

hey i've unpacked my dead space pack and i wanted to view both of the cd keys
problem is that i cant see my dead space 1 cd key

what should i do?

Um...I dont believe DS1 used cdkeys...if I remember correctly...if it does like DS2...jess right click the game in the game list and then select "View game CD key"

Yes you can actually see the cd key for dead space 1, there should be a reg entry in your registry, be careful, after you install the steam version that lets you activate it on origin. FYI there was a thread about this earlier but too lazy too look for it.

Before anybody asks, in windows 7 or xp run type regedit in the search bar or run window respectively. You will have to look around but somewhere in their should be a folder called Electronic Arts. ounce you have found it look for a subfolder called EA Games, within you should find Dead Space. From here you will find another subfolder called ergc, this is the one you want. Selecting the ergc file will give you some info on the right. The Alpha numeric code under data should be your CD Key.

In my case Windows 7, I found the entry in HK_Local_MACHINE-->SOFTWARE--->WOW632NODE-->ELECTRONIC ARTS--> etc.

FYI this info was also found in this thread also, which is where I got the info.

hmm friend told me to do this kind of way but i dont see folder called Dead space there .. only " need for speed undercover"
