if you guys still have the old source (before OB port) try the feel of the game. the mouse movement felt more fluid and responsive.

you know what is quite funny, the normal Css is proper ♥♥♥♥ and the beta is better for registry and recoil
But they should reverse that ♥♥♥♥ update that put in the new xhairs and changed recoil patterns |

I dont see the point of CSS being this way when there is CSGO coming out. I love the old counter-strike source. REVERT THE UPDATES PLEASE

CSGO is far from being anything better than the available titles (1.6 and source). Things are far worse than i had imagined. The game has a really different feel. More of an L4D than anything else.

If you wanna see old source again just dont buy cs:go the updates on cs:s was just a pre alfa of cs:go so do the right thing dont buy it !!!

Don't forget about canceling reloads with snipers preventing you from firing.
Also the peeking issue is due to two things 1) friction amount lowered, meaning you slide around more, it use to be lower so your movement was more tight and responsive, you can change this server side, also doing this re-enables jump peeking, meaning you can jump and stop your movement dead-air. It was a wonderful thing which added another skillset to the game, same thing with quickswitching, now it's a trade-off, awp someone, then you're force to retreat and get awped. Before you could awp, quick, awp. Another skill removed from the game. 2) 66 tic, basically the server updates slower server side and can't tell when you're walking/running quick enough, same for when your recoil is cooling down; which is why those random recoil shots go off. I feel the game makes spraying too viable now compared to what it was, I mean could you spray before? Of course but now it has I feel a more random factor to it. It's apparent when playing against players of any skill level that there is a random bullet factor when spraying because you know when you've clearly outaimed someone, especially when they're looking the opposite the direction and just flick around spraying. |

I agree a hundred percent man. I've played 1.6 for years and I've recently bought CS:S. I kinda suck here, idk, a lot less accurate. I don't know much about rates and stuff but I play 100 times better in 1.6 than source. Please fix this asap

I'm here just to moan about CS:GO. It's ♥♥♥♥ing awful ♥♥♥♥. Barely looks like a source game. I think they tried to copy Unreal engine 3 games. Shiny wax museum people with enough HDR to make you want to puke.
CS:S is being ruined but it's still 50 times better than CS:GO. |
